MICHAEL BERMAN, CFA
Michael Berman is a Realtor with LIV Sotheby’s International Realty who specializes in managing sales and marketing for new condominium development projects, as well as advising clients on other residential real estate transactions. Michael’s involvement with these projects begins with initial project planning and design and continues through construction and closing, contributing his expertise gained from nearly 35 years of advising real estate clients. Michael’s credentials are uncommon in real estate brokerage, including an undergraduate degree from Wharton Business School at University of Pennsylvania and MBA from Kellogg Business School at Northwestern University. Michael also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, a highly regarded achievement in the investment industry and rare accomplishment among Realtors.
Michael’s professional career encompasses all aspects of the real estate business. Michael has been involved with both residential and commercial real estate working with owners, developers, lenders and consulting firms representing some of the world’s most well-respected companies. Prior to joining LIV Sotheby’s in 2013, Michael spent 16 years with Archstone Apartments and six years with Ernst & Young Kenneth Leventhal. At Archstone, Michael was the team leader responsible for finance, cash management and due diligence including managing the company’s banking and lending relationships. While at E&Y Michael was part of the real estate consulting practice advising clients on a variety of real estate matters.
